I recently got the steel frame, 3" magnum Judge. I've shot #6 Remington bird shot, PDX1 3" rounds and Federal 225 grain Long Colts.

No problems whatsoever with the gun. Shells all come out o.k.

I can hit within a pie plate with the 45 LC at 50 yards, with butt of gun propped on a sand bang.

PDX1 rounds at 25 yards are iffy as they shoot about a foot high at that distance and BB's go all over the place.

"Nothing mentioned abut the Ruger LCP 380?
Great little gun!"

+1. Mine eats any kind of ammo I put through it, including Buffalo Bore +P. Though +P ammuniton is not recommended by Ruger in this pistol, that is what I carry. I get 224 foot pounds at the muzzle, actually chronographed. It has been very reliable, and my only complaint is that it shoots low if you believe the sights. It is nearly as light and easy in my pocket as my Beretta 950S in .25 caliber, but puts out a lot more power.

I also have cylinder lock-up issues with 2 Judge revolvers, both are 2 1/2" chamber 3" barrels, serial numbers are only 7 apart. The first one I shot winchester 45LC 255gr target loads through with no problems, but when I switched to the Federal 410 #4 shot handgun loads it jammed the cylinder, came home called dealer I bought it from and he said it's a known issue and send it to Taurus and they will replace a spring and all will be fine. He said about 1 in 10 have this issue. So it's already at Taurus awaiting repair. I picked up the second one he had for me 8 days later, took it to the range last evening after work and imedietly put the federal #4 shot shells in it and fired at my target, all five went off without a problem, loaded 5 win PDX1 into it and they shot fine, I thought cool this one is gonna work, so the third round of 5 were the 45LC that worked great in the revolver that would'nt fire the shot shells and the first 3 cycled fine then on the fourth round I couldn'nt get trigger back. Dang it, this one fires shot shells fine but not the 45LC's. I ran 25 shot shells through it and no problems, but 4 times I filled cylinder with LC's and it had cylinder lock all 4 times, the last time I cleared all spent cartriages but the one that would'nt cycle and tried it with only that one in the same place in cylinder and it fired just fine. Now I have a second revolver that needs to go back, but not till I recieve the first one back and all is OK. If it doesn't work to satisfaction then me and someone at Taurus int. is going to have a not so nice conversation and I may have to look at the models that S&W have to offer. I very dissapointed right now with these pieces, but will give Taurus a chance to make things right.

UL Talo exclusive back in Miami for repairs currently.
Less than 200 rds of various manufacture since new, no extremely hot loads, and Federal Premium 410 handgun 2 1/2 000 buck started to jam---no rotation on every shot.
Not only no rotation, but upon inspection, pitting around the breach. I contend that is a timing issue. Also seems to have quite a bit of play in rotation when the cylinder is closed---poor machining? Defective parts?
Yes, it's an ultra-lite, but still, I expected better using quality ammunition made for .410 handguns.
Both cowboy and Hornady Critical Defense 45 seemed to work fine, but having a cylinder jamming issue with evidence of rotation timing issue had me shipping it off for repair.

Last thing I want from a defensive tool is a question of if it's going to work if I need it.

Took it back to a Taurus dealer, and then to the original Dealer-------no support, advice, or recommendations except to ship it back on my dime.

I am a new gun owner and purchased a new Rossi 22 lr revolver 6 inch barrel...main usage for indoor practice shooting.. After two lessons , and two solo sessions at the range, I went to Gander Mountain after purchasing a range pass. After twenty rounds , the cylinder fell out and bullets scattered everywhere.. I, like the Range Master, were shocked. The screw holding the cylinder was found to be defective and was split in two.. THIS IS A NEW GUN! To my amazement, the Rossi customer service rep did not seemed pconcerned at all that their new product was defective. She gave me the option of sending in the gun and perhaps waiting six months to get it back OR she would send me the screw to repair it myself. Unbelievable!!! I would not purchase another Rossi firearm if you paid me.

I've had my Judge 3" x 3" with CTC laser sites for a few weeks. Me and a few buddies put over 100 cowboy rounds in it at 15' and 20' and the judge was right on target. Fired a few round of hornady ballistic tip through there also. In Addition, We put a box of 25 Buck shot into a target with the same results. The spread pattern was well in 3" radius. We single-action fired to avoid the natural pull off to target that goes away with practice.

I have a 2 1/2 chambered, 3 inch barreled stainless Judge. I have shot 50 rounds of winchester
255 grain cowboy loads, 20 federal 000 buck shots, and 20 winchester pdx1 shells through it with no problems at all in single or double action. I get nice groups with the shotgun shells at 10 to 20 ft. I get really good acuracy with the 45 lcs at 30 ft. I love the gun. I carry it with me when I go hunting, I really enjoy this gun, It is really accurate with the 45s. I love it! Im going to stick with the winchester loads and federal since reading all these stories. Its been alot of fun so far with 0 problems! I want to try some of the hotter 45 rounds and some slugs and birdshot to see how it responds. Its a keeper for sure!
